“Don’t compare your progress to that of others. We need our own time to travel our own distance.” Anonymous

All sessions start with a free 30-minute consultation, which involves an informal chat to get to know more about you and your experience. Using my coaching background I can then adapt how we work to best suit the way you communicate. This will help you take on more information and learn more easily.

I am DBS checked, fully insured and I hold a Level 3 in Education and Training (AET). I also have previous experience working with and mentoring children/young people.

It is important to me that both parent and child are happy and I am more than happy to answer any questions either of you may have, before committing to any sessions.

With all of my study skill clients, I set twice-weekly text, accountability check-in and weekly tasks, via an 'action plan' to help keep your child motivated and moving forward.

Study Skills Coaching is great in helping your child feel:

  • More confident about their academic potential.

  • Help with remembering and taking on board new information and assimilating new skills.

  • Help them develop a growth mindset.

  • Gain the confidence that they can make it successfully through anything.

  • More enthusiastic and motivated about their learning.

  • Feeling less stressed before tests and exams.

  • More focussed and present in class.
  • Complete homework on time.

  • More prepared for tests.

  • Time management skills.
